HOUSING / HOSTING OF SERVERS
INTEREC furthermore offer companies who have own hardware at their disposal, the localisation of servers in the CPD.This provides a service where the client contributes with their own complete system, hardware and software, and this is placed physically in one of the electric cabinets, leaving Interec in charge of the communication services (IP traffic), supply (UPS systems) and general conditioning (air-conditioning, accessibility, etc)
The client can get physical access to the installed hardware at any moment and will get one or more physical connections for the distributor switches of the local network, as well as one or two sockets for each server for the uninterruptable power supply (UPS)
Apart from this service, the client can contact extra services as some of the following:
- Preventive maintenance and corrections of the hardware.
- Backup files of your systems to our Backup systems.
- Additional security for the installed hardware.
- Check and update of software.
- Firewall service.
INTEREC advise the use of systems with the following characteristics:
- Rack systems 1, 2 , 3 or 4U.
- Provide extraction rails for the electric cabinet.
- Redundant power supply.
- Hardware of suitable quality (Supermicro, Dell, Compaq, etc )
