Rules of the e-commerce list
  • This list is defined as being for public use and free, and the subscription is free for anybody who wishes to register.
  • The themes of the list will only be those who are directly related to Electronic Commerce on the Internet.
  • The list is directed both to professionals and suppliers of internet services, (host masters, webmasters, designers and programmers) as well as to companies and organizations who show an interest in solutions and the development of internet commerce.
  • The list has been modified recently. This means that the messages sent to the list, should be authorised by the administrator of the list before they are published.
    The policies is to filter the spam messages, unwanted messages, messages without contents, tests and others as far as possible, which because of the nature of the list could be very "tempting" for sending inertia publicity and on the other hand it would fill up the list with "junk mail".
    However, the rights for modifying the moderated list in any moment are reserved, doing this in free acceptance for any message send by any subscriber.
  • The motives that promoted the creation of this list are mainly the following, which reflect the objectives we intend to cover:
    • Lack of information about the development and the e-commerce applications, regarding the practical implementation of systems.
    • Confusing publicity in many medias regarding solutions for "e-commerce".
    • Implementation of virtual TPV modules on behalf of various banks.
    • Publication of the bank fees in each bank.
    • Promoting the e-commerce like a media which gives advantages both for the buyer and for the shop.
  • It is allowed to send messages with commercial and/or publicity contents to the list, only in the cases where the offered or exposed product is commercially or technologically innovative, or if it contributes with an added documentary value.
  • It is not allowed to send messages whose theme does not comply with the list.
  • With the object of not consuming more resources than necessary, mainly making sure that the list is "agile", no messages with graphic MIME contents (images gif, png, jpeg, etc) or HTML format are allowed.
    Only text is allowed.
